ILSC Education Group recently revealed that their latest educational institution in Perth is scheduled to commence operations in June.
ILSC Education Group has announced the opening of its new school in Perth, Western Australia, which will initially provide general English classes to visitors on non-study visas starting June 12th.
Once the institution attains CRICOS registration, it will extend its services to student visa holders. The decision to expand into Perth was made based on feedback received from students and agents.
With the addition of the Perth campus, ILSC now has a total of nine schools worldwide, including those located in Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney, as well as schools in Canada and India.
The campus is situated in the heart of Perth's CBD and offers 17 classrooms with unique English language classes such as English through Yoga, English through Perth, and Café Work Skills.
Perth's stunning landscapes, affordable student living, and robust economy that support students' off-campus work make it an ideal destination for international students. Perth is also a designated regional area for skilled migration, providing students with opportunities for long-term learning and working pathways in the region.
ILSC Education Group's Perth campus will feature an outdoor café for students enrolled in the Café Work Skills class, one of the unique English language courses offered at the campus.
According to Jason Flaming, ILSC Australia's national director of Campus Operations, the Perth campus incorporates successful elements from previous builds while also raising the bar for the industry. In 2024, the college plans to introduce Greystone College, which will offer a range of vocational business qualifications.
ILSC Education Group merged with ELS Education Services in early 2022 to become one of the largest language learning and study abroad platforms worldwide. The ELICOS figures in Australia are gradually recovering following a significant decline during the pandemic when borders were closed.
In 2021, enrolments and commencements plummeted to 41,850 and 28,749, respectively, but these figures rose to 79,362 and 73,429 in 2022. However, they were still at only 51% and 63% of pre-pandemic levels in 2019.
