How Much Do Students Earn in Warsaw?

International students can work in Warsaw either part-time or full-time without any added restrictions, provided they hold a valid student visa and are currently studying at a Polish institution. The city’s economy along with its huge job market make finding a job an easy process, you can work in teaching, salesmanship, or the IT sector among others. Transportation in Warsaw

The city has an extensive transportation network that’s mainly made up of buses, metros and a tram network. The metro is a continuously expanding network that runs east to west and north to south, and the tram network is one of the biggest in Europe. The city does not have a complete ring road system, thus traffic pours into the city centre. However, Warsaw has a couple of major airports and both urban and light railway systems. The city’s major railway stations work both within the city and extend to other Polish cities as well as other European cities. A transportation pass costs students around 50 EUR and lasts the entire semester duration, which is a total of about 6 months. 

Must-Visit Places in Warsaw

Warsaw is a city filled with history, culture and architecture, all of which are shown in the city’s most prominent attractions and landmarks. Here are a few of them that you should visit during your stay there! Old Town, which is an established UNESCO World Heritage site, is an old neighbourhood with the Old Town Marketplace at its centre with various restaurants and cafes that both tourists and locals enjoy. Also located in Old Town is the Museum of Warsaw, which showcases the city’s history and has temporary exhibits, a cinema, workshops, and special tours. Formerly a royal residence, The Royal Castle in Warsaw is now a museum with restored furniture and artwork that transports visitors to the reign of Poland’s last king, Stanisław August Poniatowski. Music and history fans would enjoy their time at the Fryderyk Chopin Museum, which houses several exhibits showcasing his music and memorabilia. An example of Polish Baroque architecture is the Wilanów Palace, which was one of the city’s first museums and is a lavishly decorated building with surrounding Italianate gardens.
