Departments and Divisions
Hallym University of Graduate Studies has four main departments that offer either thesis or non-thesis courses that allow students to obtain their master’s degrees in a two-year, four-semester programme. These available departments are made up of the Department of Political Science and Diplomacy, which is further divided into the Department of Foreign Affairs and Security and Korean Studies, the Department of American Law, which has two subdepartments to its name: US Major Law and Compliance and Ethics, the Department of Auditory Speech Therapy, which includes an Auditory Major and a Speech Therapy Major, and finally, Covergence Service Management Department, which includes Convention Exhibition Event, Tourism and Food Service Management, and a 4th Industrial Revolution Convergence Consulting Major. HUGS is also affiliated with several renowned research institutes, including Global Politics and Korea Research Institute, Modern China Research Institute, Auditory Language Institute, and Service Industry Policy Research Institute.
