Ulster University- Jordanstown Campus Accommodation

Since the university does not have its own on-campus student accommodation, Casita offers you eight Ulster University - Jordanstown Campus student accommodation and Belfast student halls. Our accommodation has different room types and a plethora of facilities and services that cater to your needs. The room types include studios, en-suites, and flats. The facilities and services include Wi-Fi, all-inclusive bills, on-site laundry, communal spaces, bike storage, and 24/7 Security and CCTV. They’re also a short distance from the university.

Ulster University, formerly known as the New University of Ulster, was founded in 1968 and is one of Northern Ireland's largest universities. It has one of the highest rates of further education and employment in the UK. It is a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities, the European University Association, and Universities Ireland, among others.

Ulster University - Jordanstown Campus is one of the four local campuses in Northern Ireland. It is informally referred to as UUJ. It was previously the location of the Ulster College of Physical Education. Business, engineering, construction, social sciences (including law), communication, and academic subjects linked to sports sciences and coaching all have a major presence on campus. The Sports Institute of Northern Ireland, a collaboration between the university and Sport Northern Ireland, is based there, and most of Northern Ireland's finest athletes train there.

Ulster University - Jordanstown Campus offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses that can be full-time, part-time, or Short courses and CPD. Undergraduate courses include Assessment of Perinatal Mental Health and Wellbeing, Autonomous Nursing Practice in Caring for People Presenting with Minor Injuries, Civil Engineering - BEng (Hons)...etc. As for postgraduate courses, they include Advanced knowledge in symptom management in Palliative Care, Advanced Nursing Practice - MSc, Health Promotion and Public Health - PgCert/PgDip/MSc…etc.  

Facilities and Resources

Students at the university are allowed to benefit from their great facilities and services. These include computer labs and laptop renting services, a library, a book club, private study areas, and breakout areas. Other amenities include a multi-faith room, a careers and employability service, a student welfare service, and an ACE Team (Academic Community of Excellence Team) which assists students in their studies and assignments.

This campus is also known for its outstanding sports amenities. These amenities include an indoor 3G hall which has an artificial pitch for football, Gaelic and rugby, a wellness suite, a health suite, an athletics area, a sports hall, strength and conditioning suites, two squash courts, a gym, outdoor grass pitches, three tennis courts, a water-based pitch, and an outdoor 3G pitch.
