Departments and Divisions

Joseph Chamberlain Sixth Form College offers four types of programmes; Adult Education, AS and A-level, GCSE, and Vocational and BTEC.

Adult Education courses are offered on nine subjects: Access to Higher Education, Children and Education, English, Healthcare, IT, Maths, Teacher Training, and Work and Life Skills. As for AS and A-level courses, they include Arts and Media, Business, English, Humanities, IT, Languages, Maths, Physical Education, and Science. 

GCSE programmes include English and Maths, while Vocational and BTEC programmes include Arts and Media, Business, Childcare and Education, English for Speakers of Other Languages, Health and Social Care, Humanities and Social Sciences, IT, Physical Education, and Science. 

Facilities and Resources

The college has many facilities. It has very well-equipped lecture halls, study areas, and learning resources.

The main building has a canteen, social areas, the main lecture theatre, art, design, and photography studios and classrooms, a library, an open learning centre, IT classrooms, gardens, and a car park. 

The college has another building called Orchard House that has a study area, hospital classrooms, chemistry classrooms, health and social classrooms, and early years classrooms. It college also offers a sports centre that includes a gym, a sports hall, and a fitness suite.
