Homestay: If you want to get a true taste of British culture by staying in one of the homestay accommodations, you have to give the school a four-week notice before you arrive at the school so they can find a homestay that is right for you.

You will be treated as if you were a member of the family, and you should respect the host. This implies that you must adhere to the host's rules, such as arriving on time for meals and not smoking in the house. Homestays can range from a single individual to an elderly couple or a family with young children. Each homestay is unique and follows its own schedule. Homestay accommodation can include breakfast during the week, dinner in the evening, with all meals at weekends – this will depend on what you have booked with Stafford House. If you want to eat a lot of fruit or other snacks in addition to the meals provided, you should buy it yourself and ask the host if you can keep it in the cupboard or refrigerator.

You'll be able to use the bath or shower at least once a day, but you'll have to work around the rest of the family's schedule because most UK homes only have one bathroom. Some hosts require students to use the restroom at specific times and not others (for example not late at night). You will be provided with a towel, but you will need to buy your own soap, toothpaste, shampoo, and other toiletries.

At least once a week, the homestay will do laundry. They'll show you how to use the machine or where you should leave your clothes. The host provides towels and bed linen, which are changed once a week.
