Why Study at the University of Bedfordshire, Luton Campus?

The University of Bedfordshire, Luton Campus is a public research university that was founded in 1882 but received university status only in 1993. The University of Luton was previously known as the University of Luton before being renamed the University of Bedfordshire in 2006. Bedford and Luton are the university's two main campuses. The University of Bedfordshire Business School, the Faculty of Creative Arts, Technology and Sciences, the Faculty of Education, English and Sport, and the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences are the four faculties that make up the university.

In 2019, it was ranked 8th in the country in the University Green League. The university is located in the heart of Luton, the centre of life in the town. Also, it was given a ranking of 4.1 by Times Higher Education.

The University of Bedfordshire, Luton Campus provides students with undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Students at Luton Campus are allowed to benefit from many facilities and services. These include the campus centre which has many amenities like the main reception, careers centre, the campus gallery space, and a Café Neo. The building also has a large central lecture theatre as well as a range of study rooms and breakout spaces on the upper floors. Other facilities on campus include the STEM building which has four computer labs, workshops for subjects such as automotive engineering, cyber-security and robotics, along with three large teaching labs, and four specialist containment labs. The School of Art and Design has its own building with its own facilities; the facilities include state-of-the-art fashion equipment, a digital studio with laser cutters and 3D printers, a photographic studio and darkroom facilities, numerous workshop areas, dedicated studio spaces and open plan studios. The Luton Campus library has many resources in addition to silent-study rooms, group-work areas, presentation-practice rooms, and a café. Another building onsite is the Postgraduate and CPD Centre. It has many amenities which include lecture theatres, informal learning spaces, quiet study areas as well as a café and a large event venue.
