Why Study at Keele University International Study Centre

Keele University International Study Centre was founded in 2009 and is an associate of Keele University that helps international students progress to the university. It ensures they have a high-quality education and achieve great results to prepare them for their chosen degrees. The Study Centre is a partner of The Study Group that works with over 50 universities around the world in providing learning programmes. 

Departments and Divisions

The centre offers two types of programmes; International Year One and Pre-Master’s. International Year One programmes prepare students for the entry of the second year of an undergraduate university degree. The subjects of the programmes are Business Management, Computing, International Relations and Politics, and Media. Pre-Master’s programmes help students gain academic and research skills that aid the students on their journey of a postgraduate degree. The subjects of the programmes are Business Management, Computing, and Physiotherapy.

In addition to the above, the centre also offers English language training for both International Year One students and Pre-Master’s students designed to meet their academic needs. 

Facilities and Resources

Since Keele University International Study Centre premises are located on Keele University’s campus, students of the centre have access to the university’s facilities. 

Union Square is located on campus and has several restaurants, drinks venues, a pharmacy, a library, a chapel, and an Islamic centre. A student support team and security are also available.

The Students Union building has a shop, a cafe, and a restaurant you can enjoy with your friends. The University also has a fully-equipped sports centre, comfy social spaces, common rooms and halls, and restaurants. 

As for the teaching and research facilities, there are plenty of them that include The David Attenborough Laboratories, Bloomberg Suite, Clinical Education Centre, and Crime Scene House.

Keele University International Study Centre has an on-campus student accommodation. Four student halls offer accommodation rooms; Barnes hall, Lindsay hall, Horwood hall, and Holly Cross and The Oaks halls.

Classic rooms, shared flats, and en-suites are offered. Many facilities and services are included such as beds, ensuite showers, shared kitchen facilities, launderette, common rooms, Wi-Fi, and 24/7 security.
