Departments and Divisions

There are five main programmes at INTO Newcastle University; International Foundation Programmes, International One Year, Graduate Diploma, Pre-sessional English, and Academic English. 

The International Foundation Programmes are designed to help international students to progress to the first year of an undergraduate degree, while the International One Year programmes are made to help students progress to the second year. Graduate Diploma guarantees students progression to a Masters degree.

Pre-sessional English is 6-10 courses that prepare students for studying at the University. As for Academic English courses, they are created for students who need to improve their IELTS level.

The Study Centre has two student halls accommodation on campus; Joseph Cowen Halls and Bernicia Halls that are both in the heart of Newcastle and one minute away from the learning premises. 

The halls offer three room types: Single Study Room, Single Studio Room, and a Shared Studio with Two Bedrooms. The rooms include a single bed, a wardrobe, and a study desk with drawers and a chair. The shared spaces in the rooms include a kitchen and a bathroom. The student halls have comfortable, safe, and secure communal spaces.
