Surbiton is a suburban area located 11.0 miles south-west of central London within the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, by the River Thames. It houses the perfect atmosphere for international students, as it brings together in one place serenity and liveliness seamlessly. The historic clock tower is situated there, also the Surbiton War Memorial, and the Subrbiton library. Surbiton has a thing for everyone no matter what is your taste, such as the shops in Victoria Road, the Rose Theatre, the Odeon IMAX cinema, the Fishponds open space, and the Alexandra Park. An array of restaurants are present, and the best is The Harts Boatyard overlooking the River Thames.
Ladies have their own college - Hillcroft College, to study a wide range of courses, such as Literacy, Numeracy, and IT. Furthermore, Kingston University’s main campus is also situated in Kingston upon Thames, near Kingston town’s city centre. In addition to its majestic library, health centre, and facilities teaching Arts, Civil Engineering, Computing and Information Systems, Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Science, and more fields, the campus provides drama and dance students with the Reg Bailey Theatre’s stage area. The university’s Penrhyn Road Campus overlooking the River Thames, and the London International Study Centre Ltd are also located in Surbiton; the latter is an independent college providing language programmes for domestic and international students.
Surbiton has numerous bus services (London Bus) and the Surbiton railway station provides rail links with London Waterloo station, Surrey, and Hampshire. Kingston College is situated in Kingston upon Thames, and it has four campuses there: the first in Kingston Hall Road, the second is in Richmond Road housing Arts studies, the third is at Anstee House housing Fashion and Media studies. The College also houses two theatres for stage productions and where talented students are appreciated.
