Transportation in Jonesboro
Jonesboro Economical Transit System, better known as JETS, is the public transportation system in Jonesboro. A member of the Arkansas Transit Association, JETS was launched in 2006, with three buses operating on 3 fixed routes. As of 2018, there are five fixed routes, with five buses normally running them. It operates from 5:00 am to 7:00 pm on weekdays, with limited Saturday service also available on select routes.
Paratransit service is also provided by JETS for individuals who cannot use the regular fixed-route bus service or those with functional mobility limitations. This service operates differently than the fixed-route service. While fixed-route buses follow regular routes, stopping at places along those routes, paratransit can come to your door, pick you up, and take you where you need to go.
