Facilities and Resources
Campus: The Oval, an expansive green area 2,065 feet around, is located at the heart of the CSU campus. Designed in 1909, the Oval remains a centre of activity and a significant landmark at CSU.
The Administration Building, built in 1924, faces the Oval from the south end, and several academic and administrative buildings occupy its perimeter. Additionally, The Music Building, which used to house the university library, now houses the Institute for Learning and Teaching, which offers academic and career counselling and other student-focused programmes. When the University Center for the Arts opened in 2008, the music department relocated.
Foothills Campus: The department of atmospheric sciences, as well as several research and outreach centres, are housed on the Foothills Campus, which is located on the northwest outskirts of Fort Collins.
