Centennial Hall
Centennial Hall, which includes the Obi-Scott-Umunna Collection of African Art, is the oldest facility on campus. It was constructed in 1916 and included on the National Register of Historic Places on May 4, 1976. The hall also includes the Edward Waters University Library. West and Central African works of art and artefacts are also present in the library.
Athletics
The Tigers and Lady Tigers are the names of Edward Waters' athletic teams. Since the 2021–22 academic year, the university has been a provisional member of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC), where it predominantly competes. The university is also a member of the NCAA Division II rankings.
Edward Waters participates in 16 intercollegiate varsity sports, including baseball, basketball, cross country, football, track & field (indoor and outdoor), volleyball, and softball. Women also participate in competitive cheerleading, basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, and other sports.
